At what age is a parent/guardian/teacher email address required and why?

As detailed in our Privacy Policy, if you are 13 or under, you should only use iDEA if you have confirmed that your parent, guardian, carer or teacher has granted you permission to access iDEA. To confirm you've had permission, you will need to provide their name and email address. You will be prompted to enter the parent/guardian/carer/teacher email address after you've signed up and before you start doing iDEA Badges.
